Chailey Heritage School

CHEC (Chailey Heritage Enterprise Centre) 

CHEC is a small, charitable business run to give work opportunities to adults with physical disabilities. CHEC designs, prints and sells a wide range of high quality promotional and gift items to individuals and organisations. Their digital design processes mean that high levels of individualism and quality can be achieved.

CHEC was opened in 1995 to provide a professional working environment for young, physically disabled people who have left formal education and experienced problems accessing open employment because of their disability. CHEC’s aim is to help people develop a meaningful career who would otherwise have difficulty obtaining employment.

From 1995 CHEC ran as a department of Chailey Heritage School. In 2002, in response to the need to expand their provision, they became independent with their own charitable company.
