ICT is recognised as a central part of the curriculum, both as a means of support to all areas of the curriculum and as a component part of a pupil’s personal development in both communication and technological control. ICT is taught as a discrete subject to all pupils working at P Level 4 and above - using the QCA units where appropriate. The school does not have an ICT suite, preferring to see computer technology used as part of normal classroom practice. ICT may be experienced through play (computer games and toys, and other leisure activities) as well as controlling equipment in the multi-sensory and cookery rooms.
