Chailey Heritage School

Pupils have an ICT Profile Form which shows the levels they have achieved (both access and NC levels), the skills they need to be working on, appropriate software and how they access a computer. Provision is supported by links with Sussex Community (NHS) Trust staff: the Occupational Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy Departments as well as with the school technicians. 

In the Pre School Assessment Unit they use their own checklists to establish a base line for their pupils but also link their pupils in to the whole school certification scheme. At KS4 pupils can take Entry Level in ICT if appropriate.

Post KS4 pupils are given the opportunity to follow an external scheme targeting the creative side of ICT - currently Digital Cre8or.
