The employees and volunteers of Chailey Heritage School are our most important asset. The school facilitates individual staff to develop their abilities fully and optimise their contribution to the success of the school. Chailey Heritage has a comprehensive programme of learning; all new staff follow an Induction and Post Induction Programme which continues with further specialised training, ensuring staff have a continuous personal development structure. Bespoke training is delivered by our highly experienced team as well accessing external trainers. Staff are encouraged to improve their practice and maximise their potential by identifying their own personal training needs and future aspirations.
“The school places a high emphasis on staff training and has now developed a training department. Although embryonic, it is already pulling together the training requirements of the school and individual staff, as well as taking a lead in planning the delivery of training and co-ordinating the different staff involved.
