Chailey Heritage School Pension Scheme (all non-teaching staff)
Chailey Heritage School operates a Group Personal Pension Scheme which is an approved money purchase scheme. Staff will become eligible to join the scheme and start their own contributions if they have passed their 18th birthday and have completed three calendar months’ service. Employer contributions start after the completion of six calendar months’ service. Details of eligibility, contributions and rules of the scheme are set out in the Pensions’ Handbook which can be viewed in the Personnel Department.
Teachers’ Pension Scheme (TPS)
All qualified teachers are eligible to make contributions to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme as soon as they commence employment with the school (unless they complete an opt-out form). The school will make employer contributions according to the requirements of the scheme as amended from time to time by the Teachers’ Pensions.
